For most people, the holiday season brings us together to celebrate the love and joy of family and friends. Whether we are enjoying the festive decorations, singing the songs of the season or eating delicious candies and treats, this season is usually a time of laughter and happiness. . .the things that memories are made of. But not everyone has this holiday experience. Many of our hospice patients are alone and lonely. . .not only now, but all year long. Why not share some of your good fortune and love with someone who needs it most by becoming a Fidelis hospice volunteer?

Fidelis Hospice volunteers provide much needed companionship and caring to patients and their families dealing with a terminal illness. Volunteers may play cards, talk with, listen to music, watch TV or maybe just sit quietly with our patients so that they know that people care and that they aren't alone. We are looking for volunteers in your community to work with patients also living in your community. A free, comprehensive training and on-going support are provided to insure both you and our patients have a meaningful experience. So this season, become a hospice volunteer and be able to share the spirit of the holidays all year long.
