Habitat for Humanity of Chester County is looking for volunteers for our Caln Twp. and Kennett Square ReStores. The ReStores are a retail operation, so duties include incoming and outgoing donations, reorganizing inventory, creating displays, customer service, and light cleaning.
Volunteers (15 and older) are needed any time, Monday through Saturday from 9am-6pm. Four hours/week is requested and earns the volunteer a 30% store discount. Mondays are especially needed!
Proceeds from the ReStores help to build Habitat homes in Chester County.

Description
Habitat for Humanity of Chester County builds homes for low-income families in Chester County. We give a hand up, not a handout, so our houses are not free! Each home is sold to a hard-working, low-income family using a no-interest 30-year mortgage for the full purchase price of the home. Homeowners' mortgage payments, are recylced back into our construction fund to build more houses.
Since 1989, volunteers have built or renovated over 140 homes for low-income families in need of decent, affordable housing.
