Mission Statement

The Zoological Society of the Palm Beaches exists to protect wildlife and wildlife habitat, and to inspire others to value and conserve the natural world. We advance our conservation mission through endangered species propagation, education, health and wellness, field research, and conservation medicine. Our sustainable and responsible business practices and local, national and global partnerships enable the Palm Beach Zoo to support national and international conservation, species survival, and habitat preservation.

If you are enthusiastic about wildlife and enjoy interacting with people of all ages then you belong in thePalm BeachZoo! (As a volunteer, that is!)

The Palm Beach Zoo Volunteer team is comprised of dedicated people from all across the country who are passionate about conservation! No matter where your talents lie we have an opportunity for you.

We have a wide array of opportunities throughout the zoo from helping care for our animals to office help; we can use your skills. The Palm Beach Zoos mission is toprotect wildlife and wildlife habitat, and to inspire others to value and conserve the natural world.

Through your help we can make that difference! We have several volunteer programs ranging from our up and coming Youth Volunteer Corps (YVC) launching January 2013 to our adult programs, each with its own benefits and rewards.
