The Thrift Store needs someone with a truck, SUV or large van to pick up donations around the Fort Walton Beach area donations and deliver to the store We are looking for a committment of a set day/time in the week, or even one Saturday a month. Some times it is a few boxes, sometimes it is furniture, so a two-person team would be even better!
The more donations the store gets, the higher the store sales figures. Every penny of profit goes to support the Shelter operations, so this is an important job. Our customers say our thrift store is one of the best, if not THE best, in the area for price and atmosphere. It doesn't look like much from the outside, so you have to see it to believe it.

Our mission: To provide a healthy, no-kill care facility for cats and kittens awaiting adoption. We are a non-profit no-kill shelter dedicated to the felines with whom we all share our lives. We value treating them compassionately, with dignity, respect, and understanding. We care about their quality of life and strive to treat our feline guests as we would our own pets.
Description
SOCKS provides a caring, home-like environment, free of cages, for over 100 cats and kittens throughout the year. Cats with special requirements are cared for in an environment best suited for their needs. We provide advice, resources, and referrals throughout the community to find ways to reduce the numbers of unwanted cats and kittens being born, as well as finding ways to keep cats in their existing homes.
