Community Educators (CEs) are the face of Compass Center and play an integral role in Compass Center’s success in preventive work. Community educators staff tabling events and give presentations that educate the community about domestic violence and Compass Center services. Compass Center provides community education to various professional, religious, student, and community groups. We have a strong need for both English and Spanish speaking educators.
Compass Center’s Spring 2014 Community Educator Training will take place Tuesday February 11 and Thursday February 13 from 5:30- 9:00. Community Educators interested in giving presentations will be asked to complete an additional training Monday February 17 from 5:30- 9:00. For further information or to fill out an application, contact Linda Chamiec- Case, Community Outreach and Client Resource Coordinator, at 919-968-4610 or resources@compassctr.org
