Adams County Animal Shelter is looking for kitten fosters for the 2015 season! Kitten foster families take in babies (with our without their mom) to help keep them healthy and safe until they are old enough to adopt. Kitten foster homes must agree to keep each litter for a minimum of 8 weeks and be able to travel back and forth to the shelter for vaccines and health checks. We also need fosters for cats that are recovering from an injury or need extra time to adjust. This is a great opportunity for cat lovers and families who want to make an impact working together! We will provide the necessary supplies to foster your litter. We are offering new foster orientations 1-2 times a month. Please email us at SMeany@adcogov.org if you would like to attend. Description
The shelter serves as a community center for adoptions, animal control, and lost and found. We provide care and shelter for thousands of dogs, cats, rabbits, and other animals each year.
