Do you have an organizational flair? Love Art projects? Carmel Mountain Library is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist the Youth Services Librarian in the preparation of craft materials and other art related activities.
Qualifications
- Artistic Background desired
- Creativity
- Patience and attention to detail
- Must be dependable and organized
- Must be 18 or older
- Spanish Language and/or Child Development skills are a plus (but not required)
Responsible to: Branch Manager/Youth Services Librarian
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation of craft materials. This may involve cutting paper or other materials or the use of a glue gun.
- Assist with the organization and storage of craft supplies.
- Complete work in an accurate manner and with a minimum of distraction to others.
- Fulfill agreed upon time commitment or give supervisor sufficient notice if unable to work.
Time Commitment: Two hours per session, one session per week
Length of Commitment: Minimum six months commitment
