Santa Claus is coming to Edenvale Library! Holiday festivities in December is great opportunity for some extra volunteer hours . We are looking for volunteers to help with this wonderful program. If you love to share the holiday spirit and bring a smile to face of a small child, then please consider helping out. The date of the event is Wednesday, December 19th, you can sign up for one or two shifts between 1:00-5:30pm . Some of the activities we will need your help with are: holiday craft, reading holiday stories to children, passing out candy canes, passing out schedule of events, setup and clean up, refreshment distribution, welcoming families at the door, coordinating traffic and other tasks .....

Description

Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
