Come work with a child one-on-one once a week for 30 minutes to an hour throughout the school year to help them improve their attendance, behavior and course performance. Many students are struggling with poverty, language barriers or issues at home and need a positive adult role model to encourage them to succeed. You have the opportunity to be someone who matters to someone who matters!
Volunteers must work with students on campus during school hours (8:30am-5:00pm).

Mentoring and tutoring have been proven to help improve students' school performance. We are looking for responsible adults who can come work with a child at school once a week throughout the school year to help them with attendance, behavior and course performance.
As a mentor or tutor, you will be part of the Schools and Communities: Together for Tomorrow program, a special initiative of the U.S. Department of Education, the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Partnerships, and the Corporation for National and Community Service, which seeks to support Title I public schools through volunteerism.
