Manos de Cristo is seeking Children's Activity Leaders to engage up to 6 children in activities while their parents attend classes in our building. Volunteers typically work in teams of two.
Volunteers are asked to commit to at least 1 shift per week for an entire semester (Week of January 19-Week of May 11th). Shifts are availble Monday-Thursday in the morning 9 am-12 pm or in the evening 6-9pm. Prior childcare experience preferred. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are helpful but not necessary. Volunteers will be required to undergo a background check.

Description
Manos de Cristo is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering low-income individuals by promoting dignity and self-reliance. Manos was founded in 1988, and the dental clinic opened its doors to the Austin community in 1990. Manos hosts a wide range of adult education classes; houses a food pantry, a clothes closet, and two computer labs.
