Description of work:
Volunteer translators will be responsible for supplying texts in English, Spanish,and French for Nonviolent Peaceforce internal and public communication. Examples include: meeting minutes, department reports, newsletters, brochures, and website pages. The average length of assignments is 1 to 5 pages, with occasional longer pieces that are divided amongst volunteers. The work ideally requires a quick turnaround of 1 to 5 days, depending on length. There may also be opportunities to do interpretation during teleconferences.

This position is email-based, volunteers from anywhere in the world are welcome.

• Skills: Fluency in English, and either Spanish or French. Commitment: We ask that volunteers be willing to donate time for at least one translation per month.
