It is that time again, R.U.B.I.E.S., Inc. is requesting support of our 5th Annual Unwrap A Gift Holiday Toy Drive Extravaganza in partnership with Southeast Community Center's Holiday Party on December 19, 2015 hosted at the Southeast Community Center. In our 5th year, we are expecting to provide over 300 families with holiday cheer, gifts and warmth items. Unwrap A Gift is an opportunity for R.U.B.I.E.S., Inc. girls to give back to the youth in our community. Unwrap a Gift is not your ordinary toy drive and giveaway; it is the display of hope, philanthropy and inspiration in an economically disadvantaged community. The event provides a platform for our community, businesses, organizations, churches, and volunteers to come together with one purpose - to serve the youth and families in our community. The day will include many fun-filled and family oriented activities, along with some special guests!
It is only with the support of generous community, business, worship centers and civic partners like yourselves, that we are able to accomplish this collaborative effort of providing a joyous holiday to over 300 families.

Note: There will be mandatory meetingon Thursday, December 17th at 7:00 pm for those volunteering on Satuday, December 19th.

Description
R.U.B.I.E.S., Inc. is a mentoring program that caters to the need of young women in grades 3 -college. R.U.B.I.E.S., Inc. provides afterschool, summer and college preparation programs.
