Girl Scouts of Colorado is seeking bi-lingual (Spanish/English) volunteers to support in translation, assist troop leaders, mentor volunteers, volunteer recruitment, and to lead series events for girls. Positions and hours are flexible - we’ll work with your schedule and with your personal and professional goals.

Being a bi-lingual volunteer is a rewarding experience with a wide range of responsibilities and volunteer possibilities. You can work directly with girls, support adult volunteers by training or mentoring in spanish, attend volunteer events to recruit other bi-lingual volunteers, or support Girl Scouting through translation of program materials and documents.

About Girl Scouts of Colorado

Location:

3801 E. Florida Ave., #720, P.O. Box 9407, Denver, CO 80210, US

Mission Statement

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Description

Founded in 1912, Girl Scouts of the USA is the preeminent organization for girls with a current membership of 3.6 million girls and adults. Volunteers use their expertise, skills, interests, and life experience to shape fun and enriching leadership experiences for girls, and inspire them to reach their personal best. Volunteers help council staff facilitate the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls through exciting program opportunities: leadership/self-esteem, financial literacy, travel, health/wellness, science, technology, engineering, and math. Volunteers choose from several flexible pathways (the ways that girls and adults join Girl Scouting) that fit their lifestyles, including short-term or long-term service working either directly or indirectly with girls, and they can participate regionally, nationally, and internationally.
