We are seeking a volunteer who would concentrate their time on assisting one of the co-founders and the Executive Director with the updating of our website
This position could also assist the PR/Marketing team and Chapter Manager to work on monitoring and maintaining the organization’s presence and outreach via our website. Responsibilities could include working with any all with regard to strategy and/or day-to-day website functions:
- make weekly updates and/or corrections to website content
- update weekly or monthly chapter events and related information
- work to resolve any technical issues with website either by yourself or with vendors
- assist with blog technical issues, if necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
5AA A passion for Project HEAL’s mission and love working with websites
- Knowledge of WordPress and how to use it is a must
5AA Must be able to commit to 5-10 hours per week
5AA Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work autonomously
5AA Ability to effectively communicate information to internal and external senior executives, HEAL PR and Marketing team members, HEAL chapter team members andvendors
5AA Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks
5AA Strong computer skills, PC with experience in Windows NT, Excel, PowerPoint and other applicable software
- Display strong Integrity, honesty and a willingness to operate as a t eam player

Mission Statement
Project HEAL is a 501(c)3 non- profit organization that provides access to healing for all people with eating disorders.
Description
Since its founding in 2008, Project HEAL has provided over 100 applicants with access to live-saving treatment for their eating disorder, established over 30 Chapters and 25 Ambassadors bringing Project HEAL's mission and values to communities across the United States, and developed partnerships with more than 30 recognized eating disorder treatment providers across the US. The primary function of Chapters is to serve as robust local recovery communities that offer resources for those affected by eating disorders and opportunities to volunteer and make a difference in the lives of those affected by eating disorders.
We are an organization with a large volunteer base and have many volunteer opportunities available year-round. We are always looking for new people who have an interest in and passion for helping others suffering from eating disorders, poor body image, and low self-esteem.
