Are you tech-savvy and enjoy helping others with technology-related questions? Are you passionate about empowering youth and assisting seniors in the community? Then we need you!

Senior Tech Day is a celebrated volunteer collaboration between the YouthSERVE program and the Senior Circle Room at the Watsonville Community Hospital. The project engages youth in a leadership role, teaching seniors to use all forms of technology. Youth volunteers offer patient support to seniors on a bimonthly basis, helping them navigate the digital age. Typically youth help seniors meet simple but vital technological needs, from checking their email, to using their personal electronic devises or printing necessary documents.

Senior Tech Day is a rewarding recurring volunteer project that benefits both youth volunteers and senior participants. Youth volunteers are supervised by adult leaders, who also provide support and guidance.

Without leaders, youth cannot volunteer and seniors cannot receive much needed help!
