Help local veterans and their families find the resources and benefits that will help them get the services they deserve. The Southgate Public Library, as part of the Library Outreach to Veterans Initiative, is seeking volunteers to staff the Veterans Resource Station for a minimum of one 2-Hour shift per week to meet with veterans and/or family members.
The qualified person will be able to refer the individual to appropriate information that will help in their specific situation. The volunteer must be an expert listener and initial problem solver. Training is provided.
