Help us open up the world of books to toddlers! We're looking for volunteer Toddler Story Time Assistants at the Branciforte Library on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 3-4:40 p.m. For young children, read-aloud sessions at the local library are an introduction into the magical world of books, a fun way to strengthen literacy skills, and a great activity to share with parents and caregivers. Story Time Assistants work with a librarian to prepare the space, set up the day's craft activity, welcome children and parents when they arrive, and help with crafts. This is a popular program and we're looking for just the right individual - someone who enjoys books, values literacy, and can engage with children. Is that you?
