Evercare Hospice & Palliative Care is searching for volunteers who are musically inclined. We encourage all volunteers to share their gift, whether it be playing the guitar, piano, violin, cello, flute, harp, keyboard, bagpipes, singing show tunes, gospel or opera. No matter what your musical talent is, our patients would enjoy spending time with you. At Evercare Hospice & Palliative Care we are dedicated to compassionate and individualized care at the end of life when families need it most. Music is the universal language and speaks to all of us. It makes us happy, laugh, smile, move our fingers and toes and our hearts even beat a little faster sometimes, but the bottom line is you are giving someone "Joy". Our patients are located throughout the Orange County area and each volunteer must attend a training session, submit to a TB test, drug screening, criminal background check and we offer a Hepatitis B vaccination (optional) all at no charge to the volunteer. Would love to hear from you

  • Unrestricted access to the kind of therapies patients need, including certain life-prolonging therapies, such as radiation or chemotherapy
  • Coordinated care with the patient's physician
  • Assistance navigating the health care system and Medicare/Medicaid certification
  • 24-hour-a-day on-call support
  • Pain and symptom management and control
  • Psychological and spiritual support
  • Support and education for patients' loved ones

At the heart of hospice is the belief that everyone has the right to dignity and freedom from pain at the end of life. This is why we are dedicated to creating personalized care plans, which give patients the specific care they need and deserve.

OPTUM Palliative & Hospice Care is Medicare-approved, which means that our services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, military health plans and most private insurance companies.
