Catholic Charities Transitional Housing for formerly homeless individuals is in need of a House Cleaner volunteer. This volunteer will be responsible for cleaning transitional houses as they are vacated by families and helping to get them ready for a new family. Time commitment will vary depending on the size of the house. Responsibilities will include cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, floors and general property clean-up, as well as landscaping as needed (optional). This is a great opportunity for someone looking to increase his/her experience with cleaning standards as well as to gain a greater knowledge of the diversity within the homeless population. Having a truck to help haul out garbage is an asset but not necessary.
