SCORE offers free and confidential mentoring for small business owners on Hilton Head, in Bluffton and in Beaufort. There are excellent volunteer opportunities to support SCORE mentoring with administrative services.

One example, we need an administrator to assign new business mentoring requests to our mentors. Our administrators can work from home, using Internet-based systems to do the work. Join an organization that helps small businesses grow and create jobs. It's a terrific way to give back to your local community.

Description

SCORE, America's premier source of free and confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs and small businesses, is a nonprofit resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). We have over 300 SCORE offices across the country and 10,000 volunteers offering free business mentoring and low- or no-cost workshops.

SCORE SC Lowcountry is an award-winning SCORE chapter that was recently selected Chapter of the Year- Small Markets from over 240 chapters. We work with clients that want to start or grow a business in Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton, or Colleton counties.

For over 50 years, SCORE's thousands of working and retired business professionals have volunteered to support the success of small businesses nationwide. SCORE business mentoring is free and confidential.

We provide:

  • Free, confidential business mentoring in person, via email, or by video
  • Volunteer mentors who share their expertise across industries
  • Free business tools, templates, and tips online
  • Inexpensive or free business workshops (locally) and webinars (online 24/7)
