Special Olympics Santa Barbara is seeking an individual or group to sing the National Anthem at the Opening Ceremonies of our upcoming fall events. This is a great opportunity to share your talent with the local community.
Special Olympics strives to promote inclusion of individuals with intellectual disabilities. By singing the National Anthem at our opening ceremonies, you will help our athletes feel they are part of a celebrated tournament and provide them with the pomp and circumstance they deserve as hard-working athletes! Below are the dates and times of our upcoming events in need of National Anthem singers:
Saturday, October 4 th: Tennis Classic at the Santa Barbara Tennis Club, 1pm
Friday, November 7 th: 2 nd Annual Soccer School Games at Girsh Park, 9am

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with an intellectual disability, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
Description
The Santa Barbara Special Olympics is a non-profit organization that allows people with developmental disabilites within the Santa Barbara community to participate in year-round athletic competition. We offer several sports that our athletes can participate in free of charge.
