ORGANIZATION: Ocala Civic Theatre

Ocala Civic Theatre

Stage Crew members: The team of volunteers who take care of the physical aspects of a production at each performance. Moving set pieces and props during scene changes, working the light board or follow spots, working the sound board, dressers and stage managing.

We need crew members for every show. Rehearsals are usually from 6:30pm to 10:30pm Monday through Friday. Typically, the crew does not have to be present until the week before the show opens.

Earn volunteer hours and complimentary tickets for friends and family members.

Description

Ocala Civic Theatre has been uplifting, inspiring, and entertaining our community for more than 70 years. Founded in 1950, OCT is one of the largest community theatres in the state and serves 65,000 local residents each season. We are able to present professional-quality live performances thanks to the talents and dedication of our volunteers, staff, and guest designers. In addition, OCT’s The Academy education programs reach more than 1,000 learners of all ages year-round through skill-building and performance classes.
