Description

Bay County Habitat for Humanity is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. We are an non-profit, ecumenical Christian ministry founded on the convition that every man, woman, and child should have a decent, safe, and affordable place to live. We build with people in need regardless of race or religion. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds.

Today, Habitat for Humanity has built more than 500,000 houses, sheltering 2.5 million people worldwide. Locally, Bay County Habitat has build or rehabilitated 43 homes in Bay County.

Since September 2007, Bay County Habitat for Humanity has operated a ReStore located in Essexville. Selling donated goods, all the proceeds go towards building homes in Bay County. The ReStore sells building materials, cabinets, lighting and plumbing fixtures, appliances, hardware , and other household items.
