Blood Drive Ambassador

Volunteers like you help ensure every blood donor has a rewarding experience so they will return to save another life. As a registration or canteen volunteer, you are an essential blood drive team member. Don’t wait another day to find out how good it feels to make a difference in someone’s life!

Community Outreach

Volunteers like you are the face of the Red Cross at fairs, festivals and community events. In this vital role, you will educate the public about Red Cross programs, blood donation and volunteering. Every connection you build may save up to 3 lives.

Language Interpreter (Spanish)

Language Interpreters like you are the critical link between the Red Cross and life-saving blood donors. Utilize your fluent Spanish speaking skills to translate medical information and assist at community outreach events.

Phone Team

As part of the Phone Team, volunteers like you make an immediate and positive connection with blood donors. Join the team that thanks donors and reminds them of their life-saving blood donation appointments.

Volunteer Promise: One 3-hour shift per week, with a 4-month or more promise. Accepting applications for weekday or weekend mornings.

Team Volunteering

Groups like yours (retiree, civic, faith based, youth etc.) partner with Red Cross to ensure the success of community blood drives. Choose to make an even bigger impact by hosting your own blood drive! What a great way for a group to receive visibility and make a difference locally!

Description

Blood collections have been present in SW Washington since the late 1940's. We are active in the community educating individuals about the importance of donating blood. We run blood drives in six counties in Southwest Washington. Other services we provide include disaster relief, health and safety, and international support. Support in all areas help us live up to our mission.
