Help a troop grow strong! Volunteer to be a Non-Traditional Girl Scout Troop Leader! The Customized Programs of Girl Scouts of Central Texas reach girls who are unable to participate in traditional troops due to geographic, socioeconomic, and emotional challenges they face each day. Currently, Customized Programs are looking for special volunteers who can lead weekly or twice a month at troop meetings. Being non-traditional troops, Girl Scout volunteers would lead a troop in either The Settlement Home, a transitional foster home for girls, Safe Place, a shelter for victims of domestic violence or the Housing Authority of the City of Austin. Volunteers will be trained, provided curriculum and strongly supported by the staff of GSCTX. The girls need you!

Volunteers choose from several flexible Pathways (the ways that girls and adults join Girl Scouting) that fit their lifestyles, including
