Hello everyone! If you are looking for a flexible, fun way to volunteer your time then please check us out! We need volunteers for the Safe Place program.
Safe Place: is a national program for youth in crisis situations. Safe Place provides support for youth who are in unsafe situations, have run away from home, are thinking of running, or have been pushed out of the home by another family member and they have no place to go. Safe Place will help provide shelter for a youth, until they can be reunified with their family, or placed in a safe environment. We need outgoing, personable, volunteers, to go to schools, community groups, and public events, to spread the word about how Safe Place can help local youth who are in danger and need help.

Description
Family and Youth Interventions
Youth Education & Training includes information about the Nell J. Redfield School of Life and tutoring, volunteer programs and job training, community education, and re-engagement center.
Youth Programs includes information about programs for runaway and homeless youth, foster care youth, gang intervention and prevention programming, drug and alcohol intervention and prevention programming, and more.
Family Programs includes information about case management, family counseling, food pantries, and additional resources.
