Become a visiting volunteer to an elderly person living in Hamilton County. The elderly friends we visit on a regular basis are people who have little social support. Most of these people are fairly lonely and isolated and would welcome a friendly visitor. This program is at the heart of our effort to provide friendship and social contact. We ask visiting volunteers to make a commitment to visit their elderly friend on a regular basis (2x/month). The way you spend your time together is up to you and your elderly friend as far as when you visit, what you do, and where you may go together. We have elderly living independently as well as in nursing homes. Volunteers provide preferences and meet their elderly friend prior to make a commitment.

We offer our elderly friends opportunities to create new friendships and relationships. Through volunteer visits, holiday parties, and social outings, our elders are reconnected to the community and other elders.
