The Field Trip Ambassador will provide assistance to field trip chaperones and students during their visit and create a fun, interactive and educational experience as well as offer support to museum staff during that time. Most field trips occur Tuesday-Friday 9am-1pm and occasional weekends. Schedule is flexible depending on availability. Minimum 1 morning a week preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engage in a high energy environment with children, caregivers and museum staff
- Maintain current knowledge of field trip program, exhibits, and museum policies
- Check field trip schedule daily
- Update greeter packets daily
- Provide support to Playologists (Floor Facilitator) as they greet each group
- Be available during lunchtime for group assistance as necessary
- Be available during museum exploration for assistance as neccesary
- Guide and assist groups as they exit

Description
The Children's Museum of Phoenix is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that features hands-on, interactive exhibits designed for children ages birth to 10. The Museum focuses on learning through play, with emphasis on early childhood education and school-readiness. The Museum’s vision is to foster a joy of learning by providing engaging projects, exhibits, and programming for young children and their families while serving as a gateway to other cultural institutions and community programs.
We offer a variety of fun, flexible, engaging volunteer opportunities for individuals as young as 14 years old and groups that are great for team building.
