The Volunteer Coordinator should enjoy interacting with others, have experience managing personnel, provide exceptional support to KCR volunteers and actively seek to recruit volunteers to our cause. They are the "point person" for all KCR volunteers and work closely with the Event Coordinator to ensure that our events have the support they need to succeed.

The Volunteer Coordinator works to match applicants skill sets/interests with KCR’s needs and contacts volunteers either individually or as a group to ask for help and answer any questions they may have about being a KCR Volunteer. This individual is also responsible for developing and filling shifts for large events and sending out event emails. The Volunteer Coordinator should be outgoing, professional, and have a positive attitude. Strong interpersonal skills and a thorough understanding of KCR policies, procedures, and standing on critical issues is required in order to train new volunteers.

* Volunteers must live in driving distance to the Montgomery County, PA area.

About Keystone K9 Rescue

Location:

502 Willow Lane, North Wales, PA 19454, US

Mission Statement

Keystone K9 Rescue is dedicated to rescuing and re-homing unwanted and abandoned dogs of all breeds from shelters, veterinary surrenders and animal controls in and around Pennsylvania.

Description

We are a private pit bull breed rescue and our 501c3 status is (pending). Our rescue is based in North Wales, PA and we help area animal controls, other rescue groups, and stray dogs find loving and permanent homes.

We save dogs that have days and sometimes even minutes to live. Many dogs suffer in silence, they live on chains or left abandoned and yet nothing is done. We are their voice, for they cannot speak. Through education, spay and neuter programs we hope to make a huge difference.
