Exercise, socialize and spend time with shelter dogs waiting for adoption. Try to reinforce good behaviors and obedience. Socializing occurs in the morning before we open for adoptions. Shifts are 2 hours and we ask for a regular weekly commitment for a minimum of 6 months (to start)! All college students are asked to do one semester in the kennels first. Dog experience and physical strength is pre-requisite- our dogs tend to be rowdy. Dogs need exercise in all weather so must be OK with walking in the rain! Dog walkers must be over 18 years.
