America for Animals is building state of the art web and mobile applications that empower people to help animals in their communities. We believe that our products can play a big role in improving animal welfare. We want you to help ensure that they do.

As Product Manager, you will participate in the development of a social network for helping animals. We are developing it as a responsive web app. Examples of the work you will do include...

• Creating product requirement documents
• In-depth self-learning about a software platform we are modifying and communicating needed changes to the development team
• Organizing and managing the documents, resources, assets, and copy related to the project
• Creating needed resources, like a privacy policy and terms of service document

Requirements:

• Experience product managing software applications
• An interest in mobile/social
• Quick responsiveness to emails and requests
• Participation in a weekly, one-hour product call, usually held around 6pm PT / 9pm ET.
• A great attitude & desire to help animals
• A commitment of 5 hours/week (more is welcome!)
