Wisconsin Public Television is seeking volunteers to join our Spring membership drive team (March 4- March 19)! WPT is a member supported organization and fund drives give viewers the opportunity to call in and make a pledge to public broadcasting. Just a few hours of your time can help raise thousands of dollars to support the programs you love at WPT! How can you help? Register today at www.wpt.org/volunteer .
Volunteers are needed to fill the following jobs:
- Phone Bank: Talk on the phone/headset with viewers and enter their pledge information into a simple computer software program you will be trained to use.
- Refreshment Host: Serve refreshments, snacks, and a meal to volunteers and staff. WPT studios are located in Vilas Hall on the UW-Madison campus.
Weekend and week night shifts are available and include hands-on training, refreshments and a free meal. Students: Earn up to 20 service hours for your National Honor Society application or graduation. For more information and to register, visit us online at www.wpt.org/volunteer .

Description
PBS Wisconsin is a community institution providing non-commercial television and other outreach services of high quality, integrity and diversity. PBS Wisconsin is the only statewide television service committed to exploring and encouraging discussion on issues and events that are unique to the Wisconsin audience.
The partnership between the Educational Communications Board and University of Wisconsin-Madison makes PBS Wisconsin one of the strongest public television organizations in the country. Six stations, six translators and three affiliate stations offer outstanding programs for everyone from preschoolers to seniors. The Madison affiliate and flagship station, WHA-TV, is one of the oldest public television stations in the United States.
