Longleaf Hospice is looking for volunteers to answer phones and do light paperwork/projects.
Shifts are available Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
2 different offices (based on which is closest to you)
- 2712 Lawrenceville Highway, Suite 200, Decatur, GA 30033
- 1132 Floyd Street, Covington, GA 30014
Duties of the volunteer receptionist will include but not limited to:
- Answering phones
- Assisting with mailings
- Filing, copying, or faxing important documents
- Putting together Admission, Continues Care, and Discharge packets
- Computer input or searches
- Assisting in tasks identified by individual needs of staff members
Prospective volunteers should be friendly and organized, with excellent phone and in-person communication skills. Volunteers must maintain patient confidentiality and be reliable.
The Office Volunteer is an integral member of the hospice team who provides administrative assistance or special projects that enhance the work of operations staff and supports patients, families and the efforts of the teams in the field. Indirect Care Volunteers include Office Volunteers and Special Project Volunteers.

Longleaf Hospice offers care to patients across the Metro Atlanta and surrounding areas by traveling to the patients' home or their assisted living/nursing facilities.
