ORGANIZATION: Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana

Girl Scouts Gold Award ceremony

Girl Scouts in high school can achieve the Girl Scout Gold Award, and they need dedicated volunteers to help them in the process. The Gold Award Committee seeks adults to review paperwork, interview girls, and help girls if they have problems or challenges in the process. The Gold Award Committee members are trained by staff and other volunteers, and can choose the times and locations where they are involved. We seek volunteers from all over our jurisdiction: as far north as the Wisconsin border, as far south as Kankakee area, and as far east at Valparaiso, Indiana.

Do you have time to share with high school girls as they pursue their highest Girl Scout award?
