Common Ground

Our resource and crisis telephone service (1.800.231.1127) offers compassionate, non-judgmental and confidential support, information and referrals. Common Ground's crisis service depends on the dedication of our volunteers. Our crisis line volunteers strengthen our communities and builds support for those in crisis. We are looking for dedicated individuals who want to build a strong and healthy community, contribute to the well being of their neighbors, coworkers, and friends and improve the quality of life for people in crisis.

"Ten years ago, I decided I needed to volunteer where I would have person - to- person contact and hopefully, make a difference in someone's life. I found this at Common Ground. When a crisis call ends and I hear the relief in the caller's voice, I feel that I have done my job and accomplished my goal of making a difference in someone's life." Crisis Line Volunteer
