JOIN youth members at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County for weekly STEM activities. The importance of STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) is increasing everyday! The STEM program at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County is looking for support from STEM professionals to assist us with our fall and spring programming. This is a great opportunity to invest in young people throughout the community! We will work to find a class or activity that is appropriate for your interests, as convenient as possible to your schedule, and allows you the opportunity develop relationships with the young people in this community. Great STEM futures start here! Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County has locations in Bel Air, Edgewood, Aberdeen, and Havre de Grace. We welcome new volunteers at any of our branches!

The mission of the Boys and Girls Club is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
Description
In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the critical after school hours. It is at these times that many young people become introduced to or participate in unhealthy activities. To combat this, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County provides services to these youth to offer a healthy alternative. The Boys and Girls Clubs provide after school and summer programming for over 3,700 youth ages 6-18 in Harford County. Each day, we strive to help kids overcome adversity, embrace diversity, and explore their own unique talents, skills, and interests. Through the many successful Boys and Girls programs, such as academic, leadership, and healthy habits initiatives, we help youth to realize the tremendous potential they have to BE GREAT!
