Close Encounters is a Hosh Yoga Inc a 501 c (3) where local artists perform acoustic sets. We also host open mic nights for community members in our inauspicious corner on the Williamsburg/Greenpoitn border.
A variety of help is needed for these events.
Street Team/Outreach: You are responsible for spreading the word about the event in one or more of the following ways: passing out flyers in the neighborhood before the event, creating press releases, updating the blog.
Music Crew: Responsible for helping with the set up and break down of the Live show. You will also use the sound board.
Sound Engineer Volunteer: If you are interested in learning more about sound and music this is a perfect opprotunity to gain practice or learn new skills. You will perform a sound check for artist and balance volume levels on the sound board.
