Tap into your inner child! Jump into the role of coach/official for the sports and fitness activities that take place every week at the Boys & Girls Club! Bring your athletic interests and your enthusiasm and you will be amazed at the kind of difference you can make in our kids' lives! Volunteers will teach basic rules of a sport or fun game to youth members at the Boys & Girls Club and then have fun playing the game with the Club Members! Mission Statement
The mission of the Boys and Girls Club is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
Description
In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the critical after school hours. It is at these times that many young people become introduced to or participate in unhealthy activities. To combat this, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County provides services to these youth to offer a healthy alternative. The Boys and Girls Clubs provide after school and summer programming for over 3,700 youth ages 6-18 in Harford County. Each day, we strive to help kids overcome adversity, embrace diversity, and explore their own unique talents, skills, and interests. Through the many successful Boys and Girls programs, such as academic, leadership, and healthy habits initiatives, we help youth to realize the tremendous potential they have to BE GREAT!
