K9Kastle Kitty at Petco
April says "Howdy!"

K9Kastle is a small non-profit animal rescue group. We show and house some of our kitties at the three Brooklyn Petcos (Bensonhurst, Sheepshead Bay and Kings Plaza areas). We need volunteers to help us care for the kitties. We need committed, responsible people (21 years old an up) who can commit to 1-3 shifts a week. There are morning and evening shifts at each of the three stores that take about 30 minutes. Caring for them and socializing/playing with them, grooming them if needed.

Help us help the kitties!

Mission Statement

K9Kastle's mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome the neediest animals.

Description

K9Kastle Corp. is an IRC 501(c)3 public charity. Based in Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan.

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home
companion animals who are otherwise at great risk.
Most of our adoptable animals were anything but
adoptable when we grabbed them from the shelter, often from the euthanasia list, and
anyone offered for adoption is altered, vaccinated and
negative for felv and fiv.

We operate solely on donations and grants, and every
dime we receive is spent to benefit our animals. We are
all volunteers. Please join us to help save the animals of New York City.
