Women's Crisis Support Team (WCST) is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending the cycle of domestic violence and sexual assault in Josephine County through intervention, prevention, and safe shelter. We need you to help us with this mission! We have several different areas where we need volunteers; on your application you can indicate any area you would like to work and we will accommodate you.
- Intervention Services - Volunteers may answer our 24/7 crisis line, or assist as court advocates, on-scene responders, or rape advocates.
- Talsunne Shelter Support - Volunteers may work as general shelter or shelter over night support, assist in child care, yard work, donations coordination, transportation duty, and shelter or auto maintenance. Interpreters are also valuable here!
- Office Support - Volunteers will work in our offices watching the front desk, filing/shredding, computer data entry, design and input, and on our newsletter. We can always use interpreters at our office.
We also are proud to take on RCC or SOU practicum students and counseling interns! Please contact us if you are looking to complete requirements for your degree or other community service (call 541-476-3877 to set up an appointment).

Mission Statement
Women's Crisis Support Team (WCST) is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending the cycle of domestic violence and sexual assault in Josephine County through intervention, prevention, and safe shelter.
Description
WCST was formed in 1977 as the Women's Coalition of Josephine County, and operated entirely as a volunteer program and hot line for rape victims. In 1980 the organization changed its name, expanded its scope, and incorporated as a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization, dedicated to the struggle against both domestic violence and sexual assault.
WCST has evolved into one of the community's most active, recognized, and respected non-profit organizations. One thing will never change; WCST's commitment to helping survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and to mitigating the physical, emotional and societal damage caused by violence in the home.
