We are looking for Patient Companionship Volunteers at Kindred Hospice to visit patients on hospice residing at various nursing home facilities and patient's home in Eureka/Pacific, MO area.

During these visits volunteers may read to patients, write letters for them, play music, games, share conversation and hobbies or simply hold their hand so they are not alone. Just be present with the patient.

Comprehensive training and orientation for hospice volunteering is provided. I will go with you on the first visit and any time you would like support.
