Willoughby Property (Downtown Ventura) - Trail Building, Trash and Arundo Removal - Every third Saturday and first Monday of the month. Now we offer two opportunities a month to help. We are hosting our usual third Saturday and have now added the first Tuesday of every month to our restoration schedule in order to accommodate folks who can take time off from work to volunteer. Come out and join us at our preserve along the Ventura River and help us work on our riparian trail system within the preserve. Tools provided. Bring long pants, long sleeve shirt, water, hat and sun-protection. Park at the Main Street lot by the bike path.

Description
The Ventura Land Trust(formerly Ventura Hillsides Conservancy) is a land trust operating in the City of Ventura for the purpose of acquiring open space through gift, sale, or other lawful means. The organization was founded in 2003 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit by concerned citizens dedicated to working with public agencies, preservation-oriented organizations, property owners, and the community to encourage preservation and restoration of the hillsides, watershed and open space resources surrounding the City.
