Be a companion to an older adult with our Friendly Visitor program. We match volunteers and seniors based on their interests, and help build long-lasting friendships.

Our Friendly Visitor program provides companions to older adults in the Metro Louisville area. Senior participants are matched with volunteers to provide friendship and emotional support. Our goal is to help seniors maintain their independence and well-being.

Activities are decided by the volunteer and the senior adult. Popular activities include having lunch together, reading, going for a walk, and simply talking and sharing stories.

Research shows that engagement with a caring volunteer is one of the most effective methods of preventative care. With the 65+ population expected to increase to 20 percent by 2030, there has never been a more crucial time to support older adults.

Sign up today and become a lifeline for a senior in your community!
