The Front Porch Center for Innovation and Wellbeing (FPCIW) explores the innovative uses of technology to empower individuals to live well, especially in their later years. FPCIW works collaboratively with all stakeholders and in partnership with funding sources, researchers and technology partners.
OUTREACH
- Promote resident participation in project-related activities that will include designing and posting flyers, speaking with residents, and ensuring activity attendance.
- Provide as-needed written and verbal translation services.
- Nurture the development of community leaders to support project activities.
TRAINING/SUPPORT
- Support scheduled training and workshop activities at the targeted communities.
- Provide technical assistance in connecting the site to workshop presentations.
- Research and provide health-based resources on the Internet.
ADMINISTRATION
- Distribute, collect, and enter data from surveys following each activity.
- Document activities and events through photos, notes, and other observations.
This is a 6-month commitment minimum!

Front Porch is a non-for-profit organization that serves individuals and families throughout independent retirement and assisted living communities, skilled nursing centers, affordable housing, home care and pharmacy service, and contract management. We are Southern California's largest not-for-profit provide of senior living communities and skilled nursing centers. Front Porch is, in essence, a community of communities founded upon a strong tradition of meeting needs through excellence in human services.
