Are you interested in volunteering and learning basic receptionist skills? Do you want to learn more about the workings of a natural areas and historic preservation nonprofit? If you answered yes, then come volunteer at Heritage Conservancy's front desk. We have open shifts Mondays and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. You will answer phones, greet guests, enjoy the lovely views from historic Aldie mansion and much more! Description
Based in Doylestown, PA, and serving Bucks and Montgomery counties, Heritage Conservancy’s mission is to protect and care for the lands of our region; to engage with and share the history that unfolded on these lands; and to connect people with both.
To date, Heritage Conservancy has facilitated the preservation of over 16,000 acres of open space, farmland, wildlife habitat, and important watershed areas in Bucks and Montgomery counties. This preserved land helps to protect water quality and the quality of life for your community. The Conservancy has also had 40 successful nominations to the National Register of Historic Places for historic districts and properties.
