Gideon's Place has need of two volunteers.
Gideon's Place needs a volunteer who has a background in social work or case management to interview the veterans weekly to get a status on their progresss, contact the veterans treatment programs, gather the veterans' weekly treatment reports and compose a weekly progress report.
Gideon's Place is also in need of a live in house manager for the home. The house manager would ensure household rules are adhered to, chores are completed, and assist the residents with shopping and maintaining the home. Housing and utilities are included in the volunteer program.

Description
Gideon's Place provides housing for homeless veterans in Maryland for 18 months. We provide housing, utilities, clothing, food, referrals to treatment programs and monitor the veterans' compliance in their programs.
