If you love a neat and tidy home, you are not alone. For many older adults or others with physical disabiities mobiility if often limited and everyday housekeeping chores become impossible. You can can help by volunteering as a light-duty housekeeper to tidy the living area, dust, and vacuum for someone in your community who will be very grateful. We offer flexible scheduling; volunteer as often as you wish.

Community Caregivers Neighbors Helping Neighbors The mission of Community Caregivers, Inc. is to enable individuals of all ages to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life within their homes and communities.
Description
Community Caregivers serves many communities in Albany and Rensselaer Counties. There is no charge for our services.
We are recruiting volunteers who would like to have a rewarding experience. You can drive someone to an appointment, lend a hand to a family facing a medical crisis, grocery shop, help with light household chores, be a friendly visitor or telephone assurance caller.
You can volunteer from one hour a month to twice a week or anything in between. Our volunteers usually serve weekdays, but select opportunities are available evenings or weekends. You select the service level that's right for you and your schedule. We offer orientation, support and volunteer learning opportunities.
