Bilingual Spanish Speaking Volunteers needed to support patient and family with end of life issues. Companionship, comfort and compassion for patients and their families. One volunteer can brighten the day of a patient and their families by reading, visiting, talking, listening, playing cards, life review.

Description
Patient visitation, life review, discuss hobbies and interests, current events, read or sing to patients. Accompany patient outside if appropriate, companionship and socialization report progress to hospice team. Volunteer may sit with a patient while caregiver runs errands, but no hands-on care. compassionate, caring, good listening skills, able to sit quietly at times if needed. Interest in others and their life's stories, have own transportation, able to complete and send in documentation after each visit.
