Title : Tour Guide
Overview: Los Angeles is a vibrant, fun, and cultural city. Our volunteer led tours offer our guests an exciting, safe and low-cost way to see and learn about this great city.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead a group of hostellers on a local area walking tour.
Speak about specific points of interest.
Assure hostelers safely leave and return from Hostel via public transportation.
Research and develop (add to) historical and culturally accurate script
Skills: A friendly attitude. Our clientele are young people curious to learn more about Los Angeles and the world. We need volunteers eager to help and share information and advice about our city. We will train you.
Minimum Commitment: One shift/activity per week

Who We Are
We bring travelers together in the largest hostel network in the USA, but that’s just the start: from local tours and experiences, to experiential learning programs, HI USA strives to bring moments of cultural understanding to our guests and community members. HI USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, member-based organization that reinvests our surpluses back into our hostels and programs so they can have an even greater impact, year after year.
