Volunteer to be a youth basketball coach at the Spartan Stores YMCA and make an impact on the lives of kids. Games are held on Saturdays, with practice once a week. Practice dates are set up at the coaches’ discretion. Leagues are determined by grade; Kindergarten and 1st/2nd grade leagues are co-ed while 3rd/4th, 5th/6th and 7th/8th grade leagues are boys or girls.
You don’t need to have a child in the program to coach-- all adults are welcome. There will be an INFORMATIONAL SESSION FOR COACHING ON Wednesday, November 4th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm for those interested in the Early Winter session that starts the second week of November and runs through January 23rd. Please note that we are also looking for coaches for the Winter Session which runs the last week of January through March 19th.
